1: Europe's Bitter Roots
This was no normal dream or fanciful flight of imagination - it was a prophetic message from GOD! But none of the king's priests or pagan magicians could tell him what was going on! They didn't have a clue or represent God! Since "Neb" saw they were on the payroll for nothing, just wasting his time and taking up space, he sentenced them to death! They stood exposed as worthless charlatans, left shaking in their boots! But God saved the day and spared them all. GOD intervened for Daniel, a prisoner in the palace, and used him to clarify what the nightmare meant. This Jewish ambassador disclaimed any extraordinary credentials, but attributed His God-given understanding to Israel's God.

2: How Healers Can Prevent Healing
They will have a chapter on nonhealing in which all the causes are attributed one way or another to person being prayed with. The problems are fairly common, in the sense of occuring quite frequently. Ask yourself: which of the following is/are most likely to apply to you? That will put you on the road to significantly greater success in your praying for healing.

3: I Did It God's Way
But the principle on which this song is founded is anathema to the Christian trying to follow Christ. It is the last thing we should want as a summary of our lives - that we did everything in our own way! We are called to live as Jesus lived. One crucial aspect of his life was that it was led by the Holy Spirit.

4: How To Pray
. Praying is sometimes associated in people's minds with "thee "'s and "thine"'s. Probably that is because many people immediately think of church and church services when they think of prayer.

5: Following God Or The Advertisers?
The latter have always been, but today are even more locked in fierce battles with rivals. In the end those battles are for victory over YOUR mind. You are the ultimate objective of all their wheelings and dealings.

6: Meditation: A Great Catholic Bonus
Not any kind of meditation - and certainly none of the kinds imported from eastern religions such as Hinduism. It is a Christian and Catholic traditional way hallowed by time and the efforts of saints co-operating with God's graces. These include such people as Ignatius of Loyola, John of the Cross, Therese of Avila and many others.

7: Church Service Family Style: How a 3 Year Old Prea
So there we were, without wheels, on a rainy Sunday morning. Since our church is clear across town and out of walking distance, we decided to hold our own family church service in our living room. Our four kids were delighted.

8: The Feeding of the 12 Million
On its website, Concern, an Irish-based relief organization initiated to assist with the Biafran famine in 1968, offered poignant information regarding the plight of the Niger nation. In a country of 12 million people, 6 million are affected directly by the lack of food, 3.6 million are at risk, and of that 3.

9: On Finding Our Way
But what if you possess an outdated map? Or, what about road construction, traffic congestion, flat tires, stops for food, rest rooms and general relief from the numbing ribbon of concrete and asphalt? What about missed exits, bad food and all the things that can go wrong to jostle us out of our plan, all the things that shouldn't be, but are indeed? What happens when all the things that are going wrong become the journey itself? Somewhere between moving into the map and moving onto the road we all have things go as we have not planned, and we must discover the ways that work best for us to continue our journey and get where we want to go. Sometimes the discovery process becomes another journey altogether. And, sometimes we step just far enough into the unknown that we feel the earth shift beneath us.

10: King Solomon's Mind
You name it, and I have done it. I not only did it, but I did it in a big time, kingly fashion. "I denied myself nothing, nothing at all.

11: Awaken!
The "awake" that I'm referring to is synonymous with the words "watch" or "see", but again, not in the natural or physical sense. We all have two eyes and a brain that can perceive what we see in the natural. However, our two eyes and our little brain has nothing to do with "awakening", "watching" or "seeing.

12: Pope John Paul II (1920-2005) – A Study in Coura
This image provoked many comments such as “Pity the old man, why doesnt he slow down or even retire? Some cynics remarked: “What is he trying to prove?” Yes, he did not need to prove anything but his actions continuously reminded us: Do not be afraid! Do not be afraid of suffering. The Pope showed the world that suffering forms a part of our life. Fully aware of the sufferings around – from the sickness and hunger in the third world to the pains of moral decay and family breakdown in the rich countries – he epitomized the courage to suffer both in performing his duties as the supreme leader of the Church and as a human being.

13: Finding True Happiness: Part Two - Four Sources of
John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Source #1 - When we see God as our Father We cannot reach a state of divine contentment until we know and understand inexplicably who our Father truly is. Not knowing who our Father is will leave us in darkness.

14: Finding True Happiness: Part One
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. What does it take for man to find true happiness in the world that we live in? How can a person be content in this fast-paced, drive-thru society that we are a part of? For that matter, what does it mean to be content, or be in a state of contentment, and how does an individual arrive at the heels of contentment? Year after year, the greed level of society is grows to disproportionate levels, especially within the western hemisphere. With the mindset of having bottomless pockets, and the ambition to strive neck and neck with the Jones', Gonzalez's and the Rockefellers', Americans have unfortunately fallen into a pattern of life that has been built up on pedestals of self-pride, arrogance, greed and materialism.

15: Did You Inherit Your Religion?
Normally I would politely say, “No thanks” and return to my paper, but that morning I decided to engage with them. After hearing their initial pitch, I asked one of them, “Are your parents Jehovahs Witnesses?” “Our whole family is,” she replied. “Do you think religion is an important thing for people to have in their lives?” “Very,” she replied, and I agreed.
